Collective Thrift Haul #1

Hellloooo, since class was canceled for today, I finally got a chance to captured photos of a FEW of my thrift finds that I collected from the past weeks, months, and even from last year.  In this post, I will be showing my 'purses/clutches' only.  Thrifting takes a lot of time and patience to find the decent piece.  And when I'm on a thrift mission, what i look for is quality of the material, is it fashionable, and the price.   Where i live, the prices aren't that much, however you don't want to overpay for used items unless its one of a kind vintage/classic piece!.  The purpose of thrifting is to find fashionable, affordable, and one of a kind items that will make you and your wallet happy!!! LOL.  Scroll down and enjoy my first mini thrift haul. ;D  

The top picture and below are clutches [three of them comes with clip-on straps], they're sooo cute!!! Perfect for this season's trend.

This style is def. in right now, they usually go for 30 dollars and up but I got a good deal for 4 dollars with a additional 50% off...paid 2 dollars...condition is still very good. ;)

I was amazed at how 'cleaned' this pure white over the shoulder purse was, I don't think it was ever worn before, and i got it for a good 3 bucks.

got this 'picnic' purse for only 75cents, it's just way too cute to not buy. lol

Hello, happy hump day everyone!  I did say I was going to update on my 'thrift' finds but since that is still in the process, I thought why not talk about some of my fav. things., jewelries!!!  Who doesn't love earrings, rings, necklaces, whether it's real or not, jewelries is a part of the BEST thing about being a girl, along with clothes, shoes, and makeup. ;) 

[i still love these two, I purchased them in the summer of 2010,  it has an eccentric Byzantine/Indian influence with vibrant colors making it so beautiful]

Whether you're the daring or subtle type of person, a head piece goes well with any one.  You can choose to settle with the dramatic ones like beaded strings above or go for a more casual feel like the dark blue braided on the first picture.  

Because I have a 'big' head for my tiny frame, I'm always worried about how the headpiece would only make it worse, esp. in a photo.  So what I always do is center the headpiece[like the flower headband i have on the right] on the side where I usually take pictures with. 

These earrings are fancy but not dramatic which makes them very light weight, something i really love.  And most of them are thrifted. ;)

my Favorite hobby, Thrifting.

Hello.  Well right now I want to emphasize a little on my favorite hobby, thrifting!  I've been a thrift-er?![if there's such a word] for a long time now, and I believed I got it from my dad! haha, seriously, my daddy is the most patience man when it comes to thrifting and he goes through everything and anything!!!  He collects a lot of things from there, so i figured I probably inherited that part from him! LOL...Anyway, sometime this or next week, I'm gonna put up a few posts on 'thrifting/vintage' finds. And I hope you will enjoy it. ;) have a good night.

Makeup Heaven

Hey everyone, i hope you all had a fun filled wknd.  I'm sure you took advantage of this beautiful weather we've been getting here in California!....I haven't done much since school started but this past Saturday, my niece and her husband offered my bf and I a mini day trip to Capitola/Santa Cruz for a photo/video-shoot.  I'm glad we tagged along because it was such a beautiful day, weather was in the 70's with a slight breeze.  On the way home, we stopped by my sister's place and i couldn't resist taking photos of her beautiful decorated makeup vanity.  She lovessss makeup.  Below are pictures from her makeup collection, fyi; she has soo much that i didn't shoot it all, only the main displays. well enjoy. ;)
